MBE for Louth woman in Queen’s Honours List

A HIGH flying businesswoman from the Louth area has been made an MBE.

Francesca Berriman, chief executive of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists, was given the MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours for services to the architectural technology profession.

She was brought up in Saltfleetby and was educated at Saltfleetby Primary School, Birkbeck School and King Edward VI Grammar School.

Francesca said: “I am completely surprised by this honour and feel very humble indeed.”

Her mother The Rev Daphne King said the family were very proud.
