Residents in Mablethorpe went into a state of panic this week after the famous Mablethorpe Mermaid disappeared.
But do not fear, the missing mermaid riddle was soon solved thanks to the Mablethorpe’s town clerk.
He has reasurred the Leader and readers that the mermaid has simply been removed for repairs.
