Monks’ Dyke Students get to grips with Children in Need appeal

Sixth form students studying Diploma in Child Care and Education at Monks’ Dyke Tennyson College have worked tirelessly making spotty scarves and hair clips to sell to support this year’s Children in Need appeal.

As an integral part of their course the students work in local schools and nurseries, gaining experience of working in the childcare field.

This has increased their enthusiasm to involve themselves in supporting children’s charities whenever possible.

Their endeavours were well rewarded as they raised a fantastic £88.12 for the appeal.
