New priest for Team Parish of Louth

The long wait to find the new priest for the Team Parish of Louth is finally over, after it was announced that Nick Brown would take up the role.

The position has been vacant since Canon Stephen Holdaway retired after many years in the role last year.

The Rev Nick Brown will begin the role after a service by the Bishop of Lincoln on January 10.

He currently works in Warminster in Wiltshire, and has previously worked in music, teaching and the rail industry.

Nick will be living in the Rectory by St James’ Church with his wife Lucy and their two young sons.

At the January service, the Bishop will licence the Rev Stephen Johnson who has been appointed as community chaplain to work within the Louth Team Ministry.

Tony Hill, lay chair of the Team Parish of Louth Parochial Church Council said the team were delighted to welcome Nick on board.
