New road surface for Eastgate in Louth
EASTGATE in Louth is set to get a new road surface between the Market Place and Church Street junction.
Work will start at 6pm on Saturday, October 6 and will be completed by Sunday evening.
Vic Sleaford, senior highways officer at Lincolnshire County Council, said: “We are repairing and resurfacing Eastgate now to get the road back into good condition and to avoid disruption over the Christmas period.
“We are working through the night to minimise disruption to local businesses.”
A diversion route will be signed and pedestrian footpaths are unaffected.
