NEWS FLASH: Church struck by lightning
THE METHODIST church in Sutton on Sea has been struck by lightning and is believed to be on fire.
A heavy thunderstorm broke over Sutton and residents described a heavy clap of thunder and then a lightning bolt striking the church.
The church is on the roundabout at the junction with Station Road and High Street.
