It’s official! The winners of Britain’s Got Talent 2014, Collabro are coming to Louth to perform a special one-off concert.
The powerful vocals of this musical theatrical five will fill the walls of St James Church in Louth on Friday, September 19, with ticket reservations for the concert being taken from today and are expected to sell out fast.
The event is being hosted by The Rotary Club of Louth who are thrilled to announce the boyband is the main attraction for their annual charity concert. This is one of Collabro’s first concerts prior to the launch of their tour in 2015.
For group member and Louth singing star Thomas Leak, it’s a dream come true.
He said: “This really is the dream for me, to be able to perform in my hometown. All of us fought really hard to have performances in each of our hometowns, and for me initially, the nearest was Grimsby. So to find out we will be performing in Louth makes me really happy.
“We’re all looking forward to the welcoming reception in Louth and I’m hoping all of my family, friends and the people of Louth will come along.
Thomas also said: “But for me, I just can’t wait to come home.”
Rotary President John McDonald added: “I live in Louth and it’s so exciting to be part of something fresh, new and will raise money for charity. We are also thrilled to welcome Collabro to Louth as Thomas was in the choir at St James’ Church.”
Tickets for the performance start from £20 and go up to £60. Reservations can be made by calling Andrew; 01507 610610 (card payments) or Malcolm; 01507 610143 (cheque payments).
