NEWSFLASH: Sutton on Sea beach hut destroyed in latest arson attack

YET another beach hut on the coast has been destroyed in the latest arson attack on the Sutton on Sea area.

Fire crews and police were called to the scene around 1.25am this morning (Friday) following reports that one of the beach huts in Furlongs Road was ablaze.

The chalet was completely destroyed in the attack and police have confirmed they are treating it as arson.

Anyone with information about this should contact the police on 101, quoting incident 15 of July 20.

A beach hut in Sandilands as well as a grade two listed building in Sutton on Sea were destroyed by similar attacks in June.
