No tape recording at East Lindsey District Council

A longstanding ban on the tape-recording of debates was confirmed at a meeting of East Lindsey District Council’s planning committee.

In the past, there have sometimes been instances of members of the public seeking to record debates at Tedder Hall - particularly where the issues have been contentious.

“This practice is not permitted,” said chairman Coun Neil Cooper. “Anyone found to be in breach of these regulations will be asked to leave the meeting.”
