Nostalgia: St James' Church Choir - 1928

Following a recent old photograph of St James' Church Choir, here is another one.

This time it takes us back to 1928. The photo was sent in by Carol Lingard and Elaine Cameron.

It shows the welcoming of Humphrey Burton as rector, with Frank Ward acting as the cross bearer.

Canon Burton was rector at St James’ Church until 1952.
