Louth welcomed a new independent shop on Friday (July 4) as furniture store ‘Out of the Woods’ in Mercer Row opened its doors to the public, specialising in shabby chic and pine furniture.

Owner Hollie Bali said: “I fell in love with Lincolnshire, and I love Louth for its diverse social scene. The shop will fit in nicely.

“We sell quality products at reasonable prices, and there is something for everyone.

Mayor Andrew Leonard, who cut the ribbon, said: “This shop is a great addition to Louth’s street scene and complements the town’s other individual, privately-run businesses.”
