‘Outstanding’ rating for Saltfleetby Primary School
Pupils and staff are celebrating after Saltfleetby Church of England Primary School received an overall ‘outstanding’ judgement in their National Society Statutory Inspection.
The inspector concluded: “The school is seen as a force for good in the community and strives to develop enquiring minds and a desire for lifelong learning.”
Many aspects of the school were praised but the comments made in the report about the children’s behaviour were singled out by Headteacher Adrian Sanders. He said: “It came as no surprise to me that the inspector commented on the excellent behaviour and manners of our pupils as that is my experience on a daily basis. The children are a credit to the school, their parents and themselves.”
The report said: “Sound Christian values can be found in all areas of the life of the school. This is a very welcoming, friendly and happy school where pupils enjoy working and playing together. Pupils cherish their school and show commitment, dedication and a clear understanding of its foundation.
“The manner in which responsibility is invested in all pupils and their efforts are celebrated.”
