Local businessmen, friends and intrepid mountain climbers, Lee Austin and David Parker recently embarked on an epic challenge to climb two of Europe’s highest mountains in aid of Louth and District Hospice.

Builder Dave Parker, of Grainthorpe, and Lee Austin, who runs The Mill House Restaurant in Covenham, climbed Gran Paradiso and Mont Blanc in June and raised over £1,800.

Beverley Petchell, administrator for the Hospice charity said: “we are absolutely delighted that Lee and David returned triumphant from what can be such a dangerous expedition and thank their supporters and sponsors for such generosity.”
