Patrick Hawes and Olympics stars Raven at Louth concert

A group that appeared at the Olympics and Classic FM Composer feature in a Louth concert.

On Sunday March 24 at St James’s Church Louth Choral Society will present a concert conducted by Patrick Hawes, described as ‘one of the most popular contemporary English composers’.

Patrick was born locally and regularly features on Classic FM. Joined by soloist Natalie Clifton-Griffiths, the choir will perform one of his major choral works, Song of Songs.

There will be musical accompaniment by Raven, the all-female ensemble who came to national attention as the resident string quartet on the BBC Maestro programme and gained world attention when they appeared alongside Madness in the Olympics closing ceremony.
