Planning starts for summer festivals
Last week key sporting and cultural players in the town got together at the King’s Head hotel in Mercer Row to talk about events and ideas for this year’s Zero Degrees Festival. Spearheaded by the Louth Town Partnership it will take place between June 21 and July 14, and will be a celebration of community and culture, kicking off with Party in the Pews in St James’s Church on June 21 and ending with the Louth Food Festival.
They are looking for talented local youngsters for ‘Louth’s got talent’. Call 07917 628149.
