Youngsters who want to try their hand on a giant chess set should hurry along to Louth’s Spout Yard Park on July 31.
Louth Chess Club will be showing you a little of the magic behind the world’s oldest board game, with plenty of opportunity to play games and learn.
“Last year’s event was spectacularly successful,” said Chris Brook of Spout Yard Park.
“We had lots of youngsters attend and it was plenty of fun.
“This year we hope it will be even better.”
The event takes place in two sessions, from 1pm to 3pm and 3pm to 5pm, for those aged six to 15-years-old.
Young children must accompanied by an adult.
Please phone 01507 603095 to book a place.
