Police cadets cyle ride for St Barnabas Hospice

A CYCLING trio made a 30-mile return journey to Mablethorpe and back to raise money for the St
Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice.

Police cadet liaison officer Francis Treanor and two of his section leaders, Fran Potter and Teddy Sullivan, completed the ride as part in the Thirty for
30 scheme, which challenges people to run, swim and cycle for 30 miles to celebrate 30 years of St Barnabas Hospice care.

Francis said: “I am proud of the cadets who accepted this challenge to raise money for charity and Fran did extremely well as she had not been on a bike for some time.”

A welcome ice cream awaited the cyclists at Mablethorpe before their return journey.

The money will be presented to the hospice during the annual cadet awards evening as further fundraising will take place in the year.
