Police investigate affray incident in Mablethorpe

Police are appealing for information after an alleged affray which took place earlier this month in Mablethorpe.

Police say between 11am and 11.10am on Friday November 2 at the car park of the Mablethorpe Co-op supermarket, a couple were waiting to park in the parent and child parking bay opposite the main entrance when a dark two-door sports car parked in the bay.

An argument ensued between the complainant and the male driver of the dark vehicle, and during the argument the driver of the dark vehicle produced a baseball bat from the centre console and threatened the other man.

There were two occupants of the dark vehicle but the passenger did not say anything. Neither of the males got out of the vehicle and there were no assaults.

Anyone with information about who the man may be should contact Charlotte Thorp at Mablethorpe Police Station on 101.
