POLICE have released CCTV images as they try to find the identity of a man in relation to an assault in Louth, in the early hours of Saturday September 15.

As reported last week, the alleged assault took place in Northgate, Louth at around 4.45am with the victim reporting two offenders, both believed to be aged around 24 years old.

The first male was described as white, around 5ft 8 and was wearing a white shirt with a red rossette around his neck.

The second male was described as 6ft, large build and with short brown/black hair.

Anyone who recognises the CCTV images or has any information in relation to this assault should contact PC 1349 Critten on 01522 947735, quoting incident 92 of September 15.
