Police to ‘arrest’ group in Louth for Home-Start East Lindsey

FIVE people are to be ‘arrested’ in Louth town centre and locked up in the police station - all in the name of charity.

Police will be arresting the group in the Market Place on Saturday June 16 at 1pm and putting them behind bars. They will need to raise £500 bail money to get out.

They will be allowed to keep their mobile phones to raise money while in jail.

The stunt is to raise money for Home-Start East Lindsey which helps local families.

Being arrested are Coun Graham Marsh, Rodney Underwood from R and Y Autos, David Whittock, Director from Housing and Support Solutions Ltd, Hayley Bullen, Home-Start volunteer, and Tracey Ruddock, Scheme Manager from Home-Start East Lindsey.
