Pupils at St Margaret’s Primary School in Withern got to spend the afternoon on Friday, November 1, carving pumpkins with their class mates.

For these pupils the Halloween hype was still high after enjoying festivities at home the evening previous.

Pupils had the chance to carve spooky faces into their pumpkins, some of which were grown in the school grounds and one even had their school’s name carved into it.

The children also enjoyed some cooking time and made pumpkin based treats.
