THE afternoon was brought to life for pupils at Eastfield Primary School in Louth, as puppet master David Watterson popped in for a visit last Monday.

David, a regular at the school, spent the afternoon with children, entertaining with his many puppets.

Children in Jenny Watts’ year two class, the Lions, took part in workshops using the puppets to tell stories and join in with songs and chants. They were encouraged to be creative and develop their communication skills

David, a former headteacher, tours the country with his puppets, giving children the chance to experience something a little bit different.
