The Duck Race.

The Duck Race.

The quacking amount of £822.50 was raised at the annual Duck Race which took place at The Splash, Little Cawthorpe, near Louth, and also included a tombola and raffle.

This year the event was helping to raise funds for The Emma-Jayne Memorial Fund, set up by Tony and Ruth Knowles (BEM).

Ruth said: “A big thank you goes out to the two duck masters, Stuart Grantham and Daniel Richardson, alongside the duck masters runner, Charlotte Richardson for all of their hard work.

“Also many thanks to Tim and Linsey at The Splash for their on-going support and everyone working on the desk for all their help.

“Plus of course, we must thank everyone who came along to the duck race and supported the event, the amount of funds raised on the day and the turn out was fantastic.”
