Quartet of local to benefit from Mablethorpe to Boston walk
Pictured are charity challenge entrants Paul Dennis, Debbie Prince, Paddy Prince and Pete Shellie.
FOUR worthy local causes are in line to benefit from a year’s charity support from the Dunes Complex in Mablethorpe.
Owners Paddy Prince and Graham Cullen and the team of staff are getting behind the Poppy Appeal, Mablethorpe RNLI, Mablethorpe Seal Sanctuary and Nature Reserve, and Sutton on Sea LIVES First Responders.
Debbie Prince, and Dunes staff Pete Shelley and Paul Dennis will walk a gruelling 66 miles from the Dunes Complex to Boston, and back again, over 36 hours in the first fundraising challenge.
The feat is planned to start at 12 noon on Tuesday, July 3 and the trio can be sponsored via forms available at the Dunes or the Seal Sanctuary Shop.
Dunes co-owner Paddy said: “We’re in a great position to support many of our local charities and, alongside making our venue available to local groups to fundraise themselves, we will annually be nominating four local charities to benefit through the Dunes Complex Charity Chest.”
Any charities wishing to be considered to benefit from the scheme in 2013/14 can email details to Paddy at paddyprin@ic24.net .
