Radley Coach Travel say they have bought Applebys Coach Tour Holidays name

Radley Coach Travel of Brigg & Barton upon Humber says it has bought the trading name and telephone number from Deloitte, the administrators of the Bowen Travel Group, to return the ‘iconic’ Applebys Coach Tour Holidays to a local family run traditional coach holiday provider.

Radley Holidays was established in 1991 and provides luxury coach and air holiday tours from the North and North East Lincolnshire area.

Radleys will continue to offer the prestigious door to door service on all tours greater than one night in duration, and local departure points for overnight tours.

The original Appleby Livery is to be re-created.

In a statement the company said: “It will be a much smaller operation initially, offering a friendly and professional service, with a view to expand the business and acquire a further travel office in the Grimsby or Louth area in the future.”

Radley Holidays will continue to operate from its office in Brigg.
