Real life hedgehog helps Louth Library mark Beatrix Potter celebration

Literature truly came alive at Louth Library recently when a real-life Mrs Tiggy-Winkle came to visit local youngsters.

This year is the 150th anniversary of the former author’s birth.

Liz Wood, customer service advisor at Louth Library, said: “We wanted to do something special for the children.”
