Rebecca Dunning named Young Sportswoman of the Year at Lincolnshire Sports Awards 2012

A Louth area woman has been recognised for her involvement in sport and physical activity at the Lincolnshire Sports Awards 2012 last night.

Pentathlon athlete Rebecca Dunning, 16, from Grainthorpe, claimed the Young Sportswoman of the Year trophy.

Fencer Sam Brougham from Louth was celebrated as a finalist in the Sportsman of the Year category and triathlon athlete Karen Hames from Louth was recognised as a finalist in the Veteran Sportsperson of the Year award.
