The Wolds are an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and are a nationally protected landscape due to the high scenic quality and unique sense of place.

A new survey has been launched, asking for views on a range of issues, from what people most value about the Wolds; any concerns they might have; which activities people enjoy , and suggestions on what can be done to protect the landscape.

All feedback will help develop a five year plan which will cover all aspects of the Wolds. The current plan runs out in 2018.

The new plan will include joint policies and actions for all relevant local authorities and partners on the Lincolnshire Wolds Joint Advisory Committee.

Stephen Jack, Lincolnshire Wolds Countryside Service manager, said, “We’re very keen to hear people’s views and opinions on the Lincolnshire Wolds to help us review the area’s strengths, weaknesses, issues of concern, and of course opportunities for the future.

“The Wolds are very much a living and working landscape, providing a wide array of goods and services for residents and the wider community.”
