Saltfleetby man faces trial over alleged assault in Brackenborough

James Warner, 31, of Ings Lane, Saltfleetby, has pleaded not guilty to assaulting a man in Brackenborough in December last year.

It is alleged that Warner assaulted Lewis Godard by beating him on December 6.

Warner appeared at Skegness Magistrates’ Court on April 22, where he maintained his not guilty plea which he entered at the same court on February 9.

He was remanded on conditional bail until June 17, where he will appear at Skegness Magistrates’ Court for the trial.

His bail conditions include not contacting the alleged victim via any means, nor is he legally permitted to enter the Brackenborough Arms Hotel or have contact with any employees from the hotel.
