Lincolnshire Police

Lincolnshire Police

Police have warned residents in and around the Wolds to beware potential scams, after officers noticed a rise in reports in the area.

PCSO Nigel Wass issued the warning this morning (Wednesday).

He said: “Please be aware that we have had an increase, in the area, of bogus lottery win, letters, and scam emails claiming to be from parcel companies, wanting money for the return of goods.

“If anything sounds too good to be true, or if you are not sure, then you can contact myself for advice. Thank you,” he added.

Lincolnshire Police’s non-emergency number is 101.
