Send off for Birkbeck College students
A FOND farewell was said to Year 11 students at Birkbeck College in North Somercotes.
The final year students sprung a pleasant surprise on staff by all turning up in full fancy dress to make their last non-uniform day memorable.
An assembly held at the end of the day gave leavers a send-off to remember. In Birkbeck College tradition, staff performed a Flashmob version of the Take That Shine song, dedicating it to the leavers. Assistant Head, Becky Carrington shared entertaining anecdotes about the year group.
