Seven months in prison for Louth metal thief
A LOUTH man has been jailed for seven months for burglary by magistrates at Skegess.
Peter Philip Minkley, 28, of St Michael’s Road, was arrested on Wednesday at the disused Crowtree House Care Centre in Crowtree Lane.
Magistrates handed him a two-month sentence for the burglary and five months for breaching a suspended sentence order.
This is in connection with Lincolnshire Police’s Operation Brompton, an intelligence, prevention and enforcement strategy within Lincolnshire to tackle the rise of metal theft locally.
