Spark at the seaside: Family fun day at Mablethorpe illuminations

A day of fun, games and entertainment will mark the switching on of Mablethorpe’s illuminations on Saturday July 26.

The programme of events will kick off with a street market in High Street at 10am which will run until 4pm.

There will be a variety of street theatre and traditional Punch and Judy shows running throughout the day, and Russell’s International Circus can be found on the Promenade.

Family entertainment will take place on the beach from 1pm-4pm, including local singers Elya, Joey P and Rebecca Lomas.

The evening programme of events, compered by Paul Wood, will kick off at 7pm so make sure you grab your spot on the promemade near Central Beach early.

There will be music and entertainment throughout the evening and topping the bill will be international sensation Spark, a magical live music, movement and lighting spectacular.

The day will finish at 10.30pm with a magnificent firework display.

The event is organised and funded by East Lindsey District Council in partnership with Mablethorpe Town Council and Mablethorpe Area Partnership Community Interest Company.
