St Michael’s School Louth supports Rotary International Shoe Box Scheme
Staff and pupils at St Michael’s School in Louth have been busy filling shoeboxes to make this Christmas a special one for Eastern European youngsters.
The school took part in the Rotary International Shoe Box appeal along with other schools and groups in the area, including the Leader.
Rotary have been collecting thousands of shoe boxes to be shipped to Romania, Ukraine and Belarus.
The boxes contain a host of gifts, including toys, clothes, pens and household goods.
The Leader’s 2012 appeal was a huge success, with local people showing their generosity once again.
