A unique collaboration of talented young musicians are bringing their explosion of sound to the New Orleans Jazz Club in Louth next week. Steady Hands, a five-piece band consisting of fourth year Birmingham Conservatoire jazz students, will perform at the club on Friday April 11, from 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £6, and are available from Off The Beaten Tracks on Aswell Street, Louth.

Support will come from dynamic singer-songwriter Emily Lee.

Steady Hands have already released a debut album and an EP. The band consists of lead songwriter and singer Josh Herring, bass player Benedict Muirhead, violinist Christine Cornwell and Jenny Wood on the oboe.

Last, but by no means least, is drummer Max Tomlinson, a Louth lad and son of the legendary keyboard player Dave Formula.
