Work is scheduled to start on the Co-operative Food store in Newmarket soon, and the store is set to officially open in the Summer.

The store will be part of a wider development of the land, close to Watts Lane, and will have a sales area of around 3,000 sq ft.

The site, the former Brown’s Car Showroom, will have two further retail units alongside the Co-operative Food store and six residential units at the back accessed off Watts Lane.

The outlet will be in addition to the existing larger Co-operative Food store in Northgate, Louth, which will remain open.
