Students set up stall

Sixth formers from the Cordeaux Academy’s Young Enterprise group Synergy went to Lincoln to sell items to the public at the East Lindsey Young Enterprise Trade Fair. Abigail Beaney, Samantha Rogers, Sarah Tobin, Lewis Blakey, Ned Ellis and Kieran Jaines set up a stall were selling their own product, On the Record cake stands.

The group worked well together, had a successful day and looked very presentable.

They found the experience of interacting with the general public beneficial in their Young Enterprise experience. They also had an offer of putting their cake stands into a new small independent café in Grantham with the possibility of a visit to the shop and a batch order of 30-40 cake stands! The group were thrilled with both this result and the entire day and although they didn’t win the contest, they are hoping the confidence they portrayed and the image they gave will give them a head start in the area finals which are being held at Cordeaux Academy.
