Sutton man appears in court accused of murdering 14-month-old baby
A man today (Friday, November 9), appeared before Lincoln Crown Court accused of the murder of a 14-month-old girl in Sutton on Sea.
Darryl Elliott, 29, of Sandringham Drive, Sutton on Sea, spoke only to confirm his name and was not asked to enter a plea at today’s hearing.
He is accused of murdering Amelia Bowmar between July 27 and August 1.
Amelia was taken to the Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital at Grimsby with a suspected brain injury and died 48 hours later after being transferred to Sheffield Children’s Hospital.
Judge Michael Heath remanded Elliott in custody to appear back before the Crown Court on December 17.
