A 23-year- old woman was told she was ‘not doing herself any service’ when she appeared at Skegness Magistrates Court.

Kirsty Martine Rope of Trusthorpe Road, Sutton on Sea, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Mablethorpe on March 2. Police were called to Knowle Street at 3.40am following reports a woman was being aggressive towards members of the public. They found Rope there.

She refused a lift home, so told her to make her own way home.

She started to do so but returned and was aggressive towards police officers, calling one a ‘bitch’ and was arrested. Rope, who wasn’t represented, apologised and said she had gone ‘one step too far’.

“At some stage you will have to stop and think,” she was told.

Rope was fined £75 with a £20 surcharge and £85 in costs.
