Louth Town Council has announced that a volunteer guide is now available to give local people a tour of Louth’s history through William Brown’s 19th century panorama, which is now housed in the town council’s headquarters at Sessions House in Eastgate.

A guide is available every Wednesday morning at 10.30am and 11.30 am to offer a guided ‘tour’ of the unique panorama. A new brochure to promote this famous asset of Louth is now widely available, and there will be interactive material to make the viewing more ‘hands on’.

The Panorama is available for public viewing every Wednesday and Friday morning (excluding bank holidays) between 10am and 1pm, and at other times during office hours by arrangement.

Contact the Town Clerk on 01507 355895 for details.
