Teddies and tates at the wolds railway

There is a lively year of events coming up for the Lincolnshire Wolds Railway in Ludborough.

A Mother’s Day special will take place on Sunday March 10.

The Easter Steam Gala wil be held from March 30 to April 1 - and includes an Easter egg for every child.

A Victorian day will be held on April 14 with a Jacket Potato Day on April 28.

The May Day Weekend Celebration runs from May 5 to 6.

There is free travel for children who take along their favourite teddy to the Teddy Bears Weekend on May 26 and 27.

June 2 sees the Coronation Anniversary and June 16 is a Father’s Day special, featuring the Lincolnshire Louth Motor Club Classic Car Show.

Strawberries and Cream days are on July 7 and 21.

Children can wear fancy dress at the Scarecrow Festival on August 25 and 26.

The big 1940s Weekend is on September 7 and 8, with military re-enactors, vintage vehicles, 1940s food, music and much more.
