Terrific display at the town’s 25th annual fuchsia show
THERE was a wonderful display at the recent Louth & District 25th Annual Fuchsia Show at the Royal British Legion Hall.
Despite a difficult summer there were 122 plants on show with many different shapes, sizes and colours.
As it was the 25th show a special cup was awarded for best white cultivar and it was won by Mr Pearcy, a member of the club for several years.
Other awards included best exhibit by beginner which went to Mr and Mrs Cawkwell, best exhibit by novice to Mr Rodgers and best exhibit in show to Mr Clark.
The BFS special award went to Mr and Mrs Wilkinson.
The club thanked East Lindsey District Council and the sponsors.
