Tetney sensation Ella Henderson wows nation on X Factor with Cher’s Believe

LOCAL singing sensation Ella Henderson once again wowed the nation with her second appearance on ITV’s X Factor on Saturday.

Sixteen-year-old Ella, from Tetney, sung to judges in the boot camp stage of the talent show, with her stunning rendition of Cher’s Believe bringing a standing ovation.

Judge Nicole Scherzinger was left in tears and said she was ‘in awe’ of Ella, with Gary Barlow telling her he would ‘pay lots of money’ to see her version of the song again.

Cher even took to Twitter to describe her delight at hearing Ella. She told her near 1million followers: “Went on Utube 2 c young girl sing Believe!Tears came 2 my eyes! So Touching! a Great version of a Great Song.WE Can Share It!”

Ella said she was ‘ecstactic’ after the show, and now jets off to St Lucia with judge Tulisa Contostavlos to battle for a place on the live shows.

Ella is now favourite with many bookmakers to win the show outright.
