The original of James Bond gadget master Q remembered at Louth area talk
THE Man Who Was Q was the subject for speaker Selina Fraser-Smith at the Manby & Grimoldby WI meeting.
Mrs Fraser-Smith, at the ripe old age of 90, gave a most interesting and entertaining talk on the war exploits of her late husband Charles and the gadgets that he invented.
He was known as the original Q as the amazing things he designed were similar to Q’s gadgets in the James Bond films.
Twenty three members thoroughly enjoyed her talk and proceeded to buy copies of her husband’s book to take home to their own husbands, who would have enjoyed the evening, or for themselves.
