Thieves break into property in Tetney

Police tape

A property in Tetney was broken into on Friday or Saturday, but it appears nothing was taken.

It took place between 12noon on Friday and 10.30am on Saturday at a property on Westlands Avenue and it is believed offenders have tried to gain access via a downstairs rear window first, however this was unsuccessful.

Offenders then gained entry via a side UPVC door where it is believed they have managed to snap the lock.

Once inside, it appears a tidy search of the property was conducted, but it is believed at this stage that nothing has been stolen.

If anyone has any information about this incident or has seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area then please contact Lincolnshire Police on 101 and quote incident number 199.
