THURLBY Motors in Louth have been awarded Franchised Dealership of the Year at the 2012 Motor Trader Awards.

The prestigious ceremony was held at the historic Grosvenor House Hotel in London. The hotel has hosted every Motor Trader Awards gala dinner for the last 21 years and the evening is one of the biggest events in the retail motor industry calendar.

The Franchised Dealership category is open to all franchised dealers for every manufacturer in the UK. It rewards excellence across the whole spectrum of business activities including new and used vehicle sales, marketing, aftersales and excellent showroom presentation standards in addition to strong and evidenced customer testimonials.

Following the initial success at being shortlisted the dealership was then visited by a judge who assessed the business’s performance and activities during a team presentation.

Weeks of suspense followed until the winners were announced on the evening of the awards ceremony.

Chris Roberts, Managing Director, was presented with the Franchised Dealership of the Year Award by Jake Humphrey, BBC Sports Presenter.

Chris was also delighted to be nominated and shortlisted for Dealer Principal of the Year Award.

The Award is a fantastic achievement and a testimony to the hard work and contribution of all the Thurlby Motors employees who strive to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction and care at all times.
