Detectives from Louth CID are making an appeal to the public to contact them if they are offered Snap-On tools for sale outside of normal retail outlets.

It follows a burglary on May 28 at a property in a village near Louth in which a large number of specialist Snap-On tools and power tools were stolen.

For operational reasons, Police are currently unable to provide further information about the location where the burglary occurred.

Anyone who has been offered similar tools for sale, or who has any information that might assist police, is asked to contact DS Jim Hodgson at Louth CID by calling 101 and quoting incident number 60 of May 28.
