Louth Town Hall today published a new Christmas carol on its website. The

song, ‘A Carol for Louth’, was written and composed by the town hall’s CEO, Andy Howlett,

and was sung by singers from across Louth at a special recording session on Tuesday November 26.

The carol forms the backing to the Louth Town Hall electronic Christmas Card, and is also

available on the website as an mp3 download and a high-definition video of the recording

session.

Andy said: “When I was designing the Town Hall’s electronic Christmas card, I researched for a carol that

had specific connections to Louth, but I couldn’t find anything - so I wrote one.

“The singers of Louth were hugely supportive and the recording session was great. I hope the people of Louth enjoy it.”

The Louth Town Hall Christmas card can be found at www.louthtownhall.co.uk/page26.html

Further downloads from the site include the lyrics and score.
