Transfer of Louth Town Hall complete

The Community Asset Transfer of Louth Town Hall to Louth Education Community Interest Company is legally complete.

The Grade 2 listed Georgian building now can transform into a community run asset.

Louth education Community Interest Company is a not for profit organisation specifically formed to take on the building and turn it into a thriving community and learning hub.

The Town Hall will continue to operate as the central venue for major events in Louth as well as supporting learning in all ages.

The Town Hall now has a web site providing details of what is on and how individuals, families and community groups can benefit from working with the Town Hall.

The Town Hall is already set to be the home of Louth Town Partnership, Louth Male Voice Choir, Active for Life and Louth Central Bridge Club. North Lincolnshire Theatre Organ Preservation Society are key partners to maintain the Compton Organ and organise the schedule of organ concerts throughout the year.

The Official Handover Ceremony and Opening of the Town Hall as a community asset will take place on October 31.
