A newly formed Ukulele group in Louth are looking for more members to join in the fun.
With a band of five so far, pictured above are: James Pocklington, Alison Spittles, Sheri Young, Melanie Joy and Kate Harrison, the fantastic five are hoping for more people to join them.
Group member James Pocklington said: “The Ukulele is a fun instrument to play for anyone that enjoys music but is not musically trained.
“We play a wide range of popular songs from the Beach Boys to the Village People.
“It is a very informal group, there are no auditions and no subscriptions.
Players and singers are welcome to come and join us for as little or as long as they like.
“We are not expecting regular commitment but we are offering an opportunity to experience the joy of making music as a group and have a lot of fun at the same time.”
The group meet in the restaurant room of the Brown Cow in Newmarket, Louth from 7.30-9.30pm every Wednesday evening.
